Almond paste is made from ground almonds and sugar in equal amounts. With a sweet, nutty flavor and smooth texture, it is most commonly used as a filling in pastries and is the main ingredient in American bear claws. In Scandinavian countries such as Sweden and Denmark, it is very popular used as an ingredient in various types of pastries and cookies
It is recommended to store this product in a cool, dry place at an optimum temperature of 32° - 40° F/ 0° - 4.4° C with a relative humidity of 50 - 60%. Do not store close to or near merchandise with strong odors. The shelf life, when stored under optimum conditions, is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
