Our chili bean mix is a combination of small red beans, light red kidney beans, pinto beans and black beans blended together in equal proportions. They are the starting point to making hearty chili, stews, and salads. Just add your own spices, seasonings, and other ingredients. High in dietary fiber and a good source of protein, they are a great ingredient for vegan diets. When using dry beans for chili, the easiest way to rehydrate them is to soak them in room temperature water overnight or for at least eight hours. Make sure that the beans are completely covered by at least three to four inches of water.

Suggested Storage: The product shelf life of our chili bean mix is dependent on storage conditions and is highly variable. They should be stored under cool, dry conditions in a humidity controlled environment. The industry standard for shelf life, when stored under optimum conditions, is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
