Made from pure sugar cane as opposed to beet sugar, this is the type of sugar most commonly found on the market. The food industry stipulates that "regular" sugar be either "fine" or "extra fine" in granulation size. The smaller crystals make it free flowing and less likely to cake. It is pure white in color and can be used in any recipe that calls for sugar. No bone char or animal by-products are used to make or de-colorize this sugar making it ideal for use in vegan cooking as well.
