White rice flour is produced by grinding and boiling premium California grown white rice. It is 100% gluten free making it an ideal flour to use for those who have gluten intolerance disorders and/or for gluten free diets. Being a particularly good one-to-one substitute for wheat flour, it is one of the most popular flours used today for making gluten free foods. With a light texture and nearly tasteless flavor, it works great as an ingredient to make a variety of sweet and savory dishes and baked goods. Use it to make gluten free cakes, cookies, muffins and breads. It is especially popular to use when making rice noodles and can be used to thicken sauces and gravies or as a breading for fish or chicken.

The shelf life of this product is dependent on storage conditions and is highly variable. It should be stored in cool, dry conditions in original packaging, free from odors and infestation. The industry standard for shelf life, when stored under above optimum conditions, is 12 months.
