Powdered dry ginger root is typically used as a flavoring for recipes such as gingerbread, gingersnaps, spice cakes, ginger ale, and ginger beer. Ginger is also used as a spice added to hot coffee and tea. Also try using it when fresh ginger is not on hand for ginger-soy marinades and Asian stir fry dishes.

Product shelf life is dependent on storage conditions and is highly variable. Products should be stored under cool, dry conditions and in a humidity controlled environment. Industry standard for product, when stored under optimum conditions, is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
