Millet is a very important crop in the semiarid tropics of Asia and Africa. It is a crop that adapts well to poor, droughty, infertile soil which is why 97% of the millet produced comes from developing countries. Our hulled millet comes from the USA and Canada.
Millet is a highly nutritious cereal. It is a rich source of protein, dietary fiber, B vitamins (B2, B3, B6, B9) and the mineral manganese.

The product shelf life of hulled millet is dependent on storage conditions and is highly variable. It should be stored under cool, dry conditions and in a humidity-controlled environment. The industry standard for shelf life, when stored under optimum conditions, is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
