At the core of Tex-Mex cooking is chili powder which is a combination of different spices. This particular mix is salt-free so that you can either add your own to taste, or leave it out if needed. This chili powder is also a mild version so it doesn't add too much heat to recipes, just a little. It can be used to season meat, chili, and tacos. It is excellent used as a dry rub for beef, poultry and pork.

The product shelf life is dependent on storage conditions and is highly variable. It should be stored under cool, dry conditions and in a humidity controlled environment. The industry standard for shelf life, when stored under optimum conditions, the shelf life is 6 months from the date of manufacture.
