These organic apricots are soft, subtly sweet and already diced which makes them perfect for baking. Not only are dried apricots delicious, but they are also packed with nutrition. When apricots are dried, the relative concentration of nutrients is increased resulting in a vitamin A, vitamin E, potassium and iron content of above 25% daily value for a 100-gram serving. With a lower glycemic index and high fiber content, these diced apricots range in size from 6-8 mm. They contain only organic apricots and organic rice flour which is added to make them more free-flowing and less sticky. Because they aren't treated with sulfur dioxide commonly used as a preservative for dried apricots, they are brown in color rather than bright orange. They are the perfect addition to baked goods such as muffins, cookies and cakes. They are also commonly used to make bars and cereals.
