Description

Aunt Patty's organic ground ginger, a hot, fragrant kitchen spice, is non-irradiated, thus maintaining a higher level of vitamins and natural enzymes. Powdered dry ginger root is typically used as a flavoring for recipes such as gingerbread, gingersnaps, spice cakes, ginger ale, and ginger beer. Ginger is also used as a spice added to hot coffee and tea. Also try using it when fresh ginger is not on hand for ginger-soy marinades and Asian stir fry dishes.

Storage Recommendations

Product shelf life is dependent on storage conditions and is highly variable. Products should be stored under cool, dry conditions and in a humidity controlled environment. Industry standard for product, when stored under optimum conditions, is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
