A phenomenal heirloom wheat variety that was once the standard bread wheat used across North America. Rarely grown any longer, this heritage grain has a distinct flavor all its own. With a beautiful reddish, brown color and a nutty, slightly toasted flavor, these wheat berries are great used like you would rice or any other whole grain in soups, salads, side dishes or as a base for stir-fry. They also make for a wonderful breakfast cereal.
