One of the most popular essential oils in aromatherapy, sweet orange essential oil is yellow orange to orange in color. It is a by-product of orange juice production which is done by a centrifuge process. It is made up of many naturally occurring components, but it mostly (90%) contains naturally occurring d-limonene. D-limonene is found in many household cleaners and is an active ingredient in solvents such as adhesives and stain removers. It is effective, environmentally friendly and safe to use. Some people have used it as an effective method to repel ants and termites. In the culinary world, it is also used as a flavoring for confections, candies, cakes and beverages. Orange essential oil blends well with bergamot, clary sage, eucalyptus, lavender, lemon, patchouli, peppermint and rosemary essential oils.

Purity and Grading
All of our essential oils are 100% pure, undiluted oils. We strive to source the highest quality oils from established, reputable suppliers that value purity, sustainability and natural practices. We are often questioned by customers whether our oils are “therapeutic grade”.
The term “therapeutic grade” was created and trademarked by newer essential oil companies to differentiate their products from others on the market. The truth of the matter is that the Food and Drug Administration does not certify the quality of essential oils as “therapeutic grade” nor do they provide a certifying label. GloryBee Essential Oils provide the same quality, purity, and reputability as therapeutic grade oils – often times at a lower prices.
