Our organic thick rolled oats provide a textural difference (a more solid "bite) than regular rolled oats while maintaining the high nutritional value common in all oat products. Thick rolled oats are frequently used in breads, energy bars, and granola.
Oats are among the healthiest of grains in the world. A 1/2 cup of dry rolled oats contains 51 grams of carbs, 13 grams of protein, 5 grams of fat, and 8 grams of fiber. They are a great source of important vitamins, minerals, fiber, and antioxidants including manganese, phosphorus, magnesium, copper, iron, zinc, folate, vitamin B1, and vitamin B5.

SUGGESTED STORAGE
The ideal storage conditions for organic thick rolled oats are at less than 75% relative humidity and less than 75 degrees F. A best practice, for grain, is to store the product in the cooler during summer months if not going to be used within 30 days. If stored under optimum conditions, the shelf life is one year from date of manufacture.
