Vegetarian Bee Pollen Capsules 500 mg

Bee pollen is the male seeds of flowers collected on the legs of honeybees and formed into granules. Honey bees rely on this pollen and honey for food. Bee pollen contains the vitamins, minerals, amino acids (proteins), enzymes and fatty acids needed for the human body-some call it Nature's Perfect Food. Scientists have reported that bee pollen has more protein than beef per serving.

Our high-quality bee pollen is collected at certain times of the year (making sure to allow bees plenty of time to store their own supply) by placing a pollen trap at the hive entrance. The pollen trap gently brushes the pollen off the bees’ legs as they enter the hive. The pollen then falls into a collection bin. Finally, the beekeeper cleans and dries the pollen at low temperatures, which preserves its potency.

The pollen is then taken and ground into a powder (along with rice powder to prevent clumping and keep pourable) and placed into a vegetable based gelatin capsule (Hypromellose). Each capsule contains 500mg of bee pollen.
