This amber colored, slightly thick essential oils is most commonly used as a fixative for other aromas in making perfumes. Native to India, the vetiver plant is a member of the grass family. It has a root system that grows down instead of to the side, making it ideal for preventing soil erosion. Use in soap, creams, lotions and massage oils. It blends well with clary sage, grapefruit, lavender, lemon, lemongrass, orange and patchouli essential oils.
