Almonds have a long history, going all the way back to 1400 BC. Almond trees originated in the Middle East, but today are widely grown in Spain and California. Spain is only second to the United States in almond production. In fact, it was Spanish missionaries who introduced almonds to the US more than 150 years ago.

Almonds are high in protein at 6 grams per ounce, high in fiber at 4 grams per ounce and are an excellent source of other vitamins and minerals including calcium, magnesium and potassium. Two decades of research have shown that almonds can help maintain a healthy heart and weight.

Our Spanish almonds are sourced from remote regions of the Spanish countryside. They are a large, smooth almond that are versatile for all around use including snacking, cooking and baking.

Suggested Storage

Product shelf life is dependent on storage conditions and is highly variable.  Almonds should be stored under cool, dry conditions and in a humidity controlled environment.  The industry standard for shelf life, when stored under optimum conditions, is 18 months from date of manufacture.
