Description

Our organic and Non-GMO project hulled millet is perfect for porridge, nutrition bars, and bread. Millet is a small-grained, annual, warm-weather cereal crop belonging to the grass family. Millet is a very important crop in the semiarid tropics of Asia and Africa. It is a crop that adapts well to poor, droughty, infertile soils which is why 97% of the millet produced comes from developing countries. Our Organic Millet comes from the USA and Ukraine.

Millet is a highly nutritious cereal. It is a rich source of protein, dietary fiber, B vitamins (B2, B3, B6, B9) and the mineral manganese. It is a popular culinary ingredient in arid and semiarid regions around the world.

SUGGESTED STORAGE

It is recommended to store millet in dry storage at a temperature of 35-95 degrees F at below 50% relative humidity. When stored under optimum conditions, the shelf life is 12 months from lot code date.
