Factory Store Closure

We want to share the news with you that we have made the difficult decision to permanently close the GloryBee Factory Store on Saturday, June 27.

This decision was not made lightly. Our founders, Dick and Pat Turanski, first began selling to customers out of their family garage in 1975, and the Factory Store grew and evolved over the years to what it is today. The GloryBee Factory Store has been part of the company’s legacy and relationship with our community for more than 45 years. We have had an amazing run serving our community and local beekeepers via our brick-and-mortar store as it evolved, grew and even moved locations over the years.

As we celebrate this legacy, we also want to celebrate this as a positive change which allows us to continue to focus on our core business of supplying ingredients to food and beverage manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors, bakeries and retailers. As you may or may not know, you are probably already enjoying high-quality natural and organic ingredients in many of your favorite natural prepared foods and restaurant meals!

GloryBee and the Turanski family would like to say thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for your support and genuine relationship with us for so many years. We look forward to serving your needs with our local partners and online at glorybee.com.

Many of our retail honey and natural sweetener products can be found at local retailers.

Stay tuned for more information on will call order for wholesale customers, and local beekeeping partnerships.

    Hi All,

This is very sad for the Turanski's and also with Dick and Pat. These times are trying and we must all reinvent not only ourselves, but how we interact, work and play in these difficult times. Praying for the teams and business success at GloryBee. I miss you all and only wish the best for your future success.

Over the years my husband & I have supported GloryBee as beekeepers for 25 yrs. We have gladly recommended many people to your business.
We’re wondering if you will still sell beekeeping supplies at all, as we would still direct local beekeepers to you for their supplies?
We’re sorry about this change, but wish you well in the future.

    Hey there,

As a small business owner, I can understand how hard the decision was to close the factory store.

However, my small business heavily depends on your factory store. I make goat milk and beer soaps and have been raving about your palm oil, essential oils for years! I really appreciate the pricing on essential oils. I also love getting to go down to stock up on supplies.

May I suggest an alternative to the factory store for locals?

The added shipping cost when I can drive to pick up will definitely hurt my business. I would love to keep supporting local with you guys as my supplier. Is there a way you can offer a pick up window service? Just for certain customers if you want, etc?

Thanks so much for being a huge supplier for my business and for caring enough about what you offer to do so much side work!! I wish you guys success going forward.

I was shocked a few months ago when you guys said I couldn't buy honey in bulk anymore... Now I go by the store and you are closed...WOW!!
Then after reviewing your website I see your honey cost even more than your honey at BiMart.
You guys used to be about helping people out with superior products at a decent rate. Now it seems you are all about the money. If anything at all, your honey should be cheaper than it is because you have less overhead with the store closed. Sad to see such a nice company go in the crapper with all other establishment companies. Greed will bring you down. Mark my words.
Have a nice day knowing I have to now buy a lesser brand because of you higher prices... Sad.
