Red Plate Foods is a family owned business located in Bend, Oregon. The company founders, Becca and Chell Williams, deal with severe food allergies on a daily basis, both themselves and their family. In going through their own experience with food allergies, they learned that other families were living in the same situation. As many as 15 million people in the U.S. suffer from food allergies and nearly one-third of U.S. adults follow a restricted diet due to food intolerance.
The name "Red Plate Foods" comes from a family tradition that started in the 1970s. Today, the Chell family continues to recognize accomplishments and special events by serving the special person with a red plate. Now, they are passing this tradition along to their customers. Their mission is to make good tasting food for everyone to enjoy, regardless of dietary needs or choices.
