Clary sage essential oil is light golden yellow in color. The plant is native to the Mediterranean, some areas in North Africa and Central Asia. It has a long history of being used as a medicinal herb throughout the ages. The name clary sage is derived from the Latin word clarus, meaning "clear”. It also has an extensive history of being used as a fixative in the craft of perfumery as it adds a warming note to an aroma blend. It blends well with bergamot, grapefruit, lavender, patchouli and tea tree essential oils. Popular applications include use in aroma diffusers, perfumes, creams, lotions, massage oils and room sprays.

Purity and Grading
All of our essential oils are 100% pure, undiluted oils. We strive to source the highest quality oils from established, reputable suppliers that value purity, sustainability and natural practices. We are often questioned by customers whether our oils are “therapeutic grade”.
The term “therapeutic grade” was created and trademarked by newer essential oil companies to differentiate their products from others on the market. The truth of the matter is that the Food and Drug Administration does not certify the quality of essential oils as “therapeutic grade” nor do they provide a certifying label. GloryBee Essential Oils provide the same quality, purity, and reputability as therapeutic grade oils – often times at a lower prices.
