This coconut milk is made from organic coconuts grown in Sri Lanka. Coconut milk is the liquid that comes from the grated meat of a mature coconut. The opacity and rich taste of coconut milk comes from its high oil content, most of which is saturated fat. It is distinguished from coconut water by its thicker consistency and milkier appearance. This coconut milk is a mixture of 64.5% coconut (in the form of condensed coconut cream) and 35.5% water. The convenient aseptic plastic bag in a box packaging allows for more efficient dispensing of the milk with less waster compared to typical can packaging.
