Crushed red chili pepper are made from a mix of peppers from the Capsicum annum family. These include peppers such as jalapeno, bell, Fresno, and Anaheim, however, the most commonly used pepper for crush red chili pepper is cayenne pepper. The kick of heat that you get from eating crushed red chili pepper comes from the seeds that it contains. They are processed by drying and crushing.

SHELF LIFE AND SUGGESTED STORAGE
The product shelf life is dependent on storage conditions. It should be stored under cool, dry conditions and in a humidity-controlled environment. When stored under optimum conditions, the shelf life is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
