Clear PVC plastic mold with one cavity tray. Once the hardened soap is popped out of the mold, it can be easily cut into 16 separate guest-size bars of soap.
Beekeepers, gardeners and bee enthusiasts all love this honeybee tray mold! The design of each honeybee within this mold is simple and elegant. A tray mold allows for you to make several soaps at once by only having to pour one time. Once the soap hardens, remove from the mold and then cut into individual soaps using the molded grid lines as a guide. These make wonderful soaps to give away as gifts as they are just the right size to package. They can be used to make melt and pour soap, cold process soap and lotion bars. They are especially attractive to use when making soap or lotions bars that contain honey fragrance and beeswax.
Finished Soap Size
The entire tray cavity measures 7.5 inches long by 7.5 inches wide by .75 inches in depth and holds 1.75 pounds of soap. When cut into individual soaps, each bar measures 1.875 inches long by 1.875 inches wide and makes 1.75 ounce bars.
This mold can tolerate temperatures of 135 to 145 degrees F. Warping may occur if pouring soap in above these temperatures. Soap is easiest to release 12 to 24 hours after cooling.
Measurements and weights listed above are approximate. These molds are not food grade. Wash molds in warm, soapy water. Avoid putting in the dishwasher as this may cause the molds to become brittle and/or warp.
